Booking process

Point of contact

Initially, someone from the wedding party will email/call us. We then email with possible menu ideas and prices including any other ideas we have based on their requirements 

 

Meeting

We always suggest meeting, possibly at the venue if possible. This allows us to put a face to a name and enable us to discuss everything about their default in greater detail. It also allows for an exchange of ideas, and a chance to get creative. All information is recorded on their file. It is during this time  tasting will be encouraged. 

 

Tasting

During the tasting we suggest sampling 2 or 3 starters, mains and dessert options. The tasting is at no extra cost to the couple, unless they decide not to proceed with booking us, then there is a fee of £50. 

We will often present the couple with photos of previous weddings to gI’ve them a better idea of how things will look in their chosen venue. This not only provides further ideas but also creates an air of excitement. We also discuss linen, glass, crockery and cutlery requirements, which we set up on the day. 

We discuss how the couple would like their items served and presented, and also have a run through of their day, including the timings. 

 

What next?

unless the couple wish to discuss anything more, it can go several months between correspondence. Once the deposit has been received, and a bespoke menu created there is very little to discuss until a few weeks before theor wedding day, unless the couple have any questions, or any changes to be made.

We just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for providing such an amazing experience on our wedding day. From start to finish it has been a pleasure dealing with you and your team. On the day it was seamless and the food was delicious (so I’m told, I didn’t actually get to eat any as I was pulled off for photos!)
